TORONTO -- Canada's Whitney McClintock has won gold in women's water skiing at the Pan American Games.
The Cambridge, Ont., native finished ahead of American Regina Jaquess and Mexico's Carolina Chapoy.
McClintock took the lead in the overall performance after earning 8370 points in the tricks event.
Canadian Jarret Llewellyn was competing later in the day in men's water skiing.
