The main campus of Conestoga College was under lockdown for a brief period late Thursday afternoon.
The lockdown was enacted around 4:30 p.m. at the school’s Doon campus.
Waterloo Regional Police say a student was threatening to harm themselves, and the lockdown was ordered to protect the safety of everyone at the campus.
The student was located and given medical attention, police say.
No physical injuries were reported.
Normal operations resumed at the school before 5 p.m.
Other Conestoga campuses were not affected.
