The City of Cambridge has decided it will allow retail cannabis stores within the city.
Council voted 7-1 to pass the motion.
Cambridge Mayor Kathryn McGarry says a safe and legal option is the best option for the city.
Earlier this week Waterloo, Kitchener and Wilmot Township also decided to allow retail cannabis.
