A bat that bit a Woodstock man has tested positive for rabies.
Oxford County Public Health says the bat, which appeared injured, was found by a Woodstock resident last week.
The man was bitten as he tried to remove the bat from his property, and he is now undergoing treatment.
Officials say it's Oxford County's first case of animal rabies in over five years.
