While temperatures are expected to pass the 20 C mark in the coming days, you might not want to put your spring jackets away just yet.

Forecasts are calling for highs hovering around the 20 C mark across our coverage area on Friday, and things getting perhaps a bit warmer on Saturday.

At the same time, a cold front approaching from northwestern Ontario will be making its way south, potentially bringing precipitation to the area during the day.

That risk of rain carries over into Sunday, when the cold front settles in and temperatures drop somewhat.

The cold front isn’t expected to linger for long. By Monday, many parts of southern Ontario are expected to see daily high temperatures back near 20 C under sunny skies.
