Three people face charges following a police investigation at a Kitchener motel.

Waterloo Regional Police say they made the arrests around 8 p.m. Tuesday, at a motel in the area of King Street East and Fairway Road.

A 22-year-old man was arrested in connection with an alleged theft from earlier in the day, while two women – aged 18 and 21 – were arrested on outstanding warrants.

The man faces charges including theft.

Seized from the unit where the arrests were made were pepper spray, knives, a crossbow and a small amount of crystal meth, police say.
