Cambridge Coun. Pam Wolf has pleaded not guilty to charges of impaired driving and blowing over 80 milligrams on a breathalyzer.

Last November, Wolf was arrested and charged after a two-vehicle crash at Fountain and Victoria streets in Breslau.

There were no injuries in the collision.

Among the issues debated in court Thursday was the amount of alcohol Wolf drank before the crash.

The Ward 5 councillor testified that three had three drinks over four hours that night – one glass of wine while meeting with teachers who opposed Bill 150, and two more drinks while attending a ceremony at Bingemans.

The Crown says toxicology reports indicate that Wolf had somewhere in the range of eight to 10 drinks.

A breathalyzer test found Wolf’s blood-alcohol level to be at 0.093 at the time of the crash, above the legal limit of 0.08.

Wolf, 62, did not speak directly to reporters Thursday, but did release a statement in which she referred to the charges as “a wake-up call” and “a tough learning opportunity leaving me humbled but stronger.”

“Everyone makes mistakes, but our mistakes do not have to define us,” the statement reads.

The proceeding was adjourned with all evidence presented Thursday.

The judge’s decision is expected Oct. 17.
