Two men face multiple charges after a bank robbery and car chase near Waterford Friday afternoon.

Norfolk County OPP was called to an alleged bank robbery at the Bank of Montreal in Waterford just after noon on Friday.

Witnesses told police about a vehicle that was possibly involved.

Haldimand County OPP saw the suspect vehicle on Highway 6 heading towards Caledonia.

The vehicle failed to stop for police, and continued on Highway 6 but collided with two other vehicles while trying to turn onto Argyle Street in Caledonia.

Two suspects fled on foot, but were caught shortly after by OPP.

Fortunately there were no serious injuries caused by the crash.

A 23-year-old Brantford man is facing three charges including Robbery with a Weapon, while a 23-year-old North York man is facing four charges including Flight while Pursued by Peace Officer.

Both men are in custody pending a bail hearing.
