An incident in Woodstock has resulted in more charges against a Waterloo Region officer who was already suspended from duty for a separate incident.
Const. Christoper Knox, a four and a half year member with the Waterloo Regional Police Service, has been charged with criminal harassment and mischief under $5,000.
The charges were laid Tuesday by Woodstock police, but no further details on the nature of the incident have been released, except that the officer was off-duty.
Knox is currently suspended from duty as a criminal and professional standards investigation continues.
Charges related to that investigation involve voyeurism and two charges of breach of trust after an incident in April when photographs were taken without permission.
The Waterloo Regional Police Service said in a press release a suspension "includes the removal of all powers of authority bestowed upon a police officer."
Knox will appear in court in Woodstock on July 26 to face the charges.
