Cleanup crews were called to a busy Guelph intersection early Friday morning.
A commercial vehicle struck a pole on Silvercreek Parkway at Woodlawn Road West around 6 a.m.
The force of the collision flattened the pole and left it laying across the road.
The area was shut down for a short time while they removed the pole.
