If you want to put your name in the helmet for a one-way ticket to Mars, you have only a few hours left to do so on Saturday.

More than 165 thousand people from 140 countries have applied for the “Mars One” Trip.

Almost seven thousand Canadians bought a ticket.

People paid fees ranging from five to 75 dollars in the hopes of being chosen for the trek to the red planet.

The goal of the six billion dollar project is to set up a human colony on Mars within a decade.
