Police have released a composite image of a man believed to have inappropriately touched a young girl in Waterloo.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, the man approached a group of three children playing near a creek off Parkside Drive around 5:30 p.m. Monday, then moved closer and touched one of the girls.

Officers searched the area but were unable to find the man.

He is described as white and approximately 20 years old, possibly between 5’4” and 5’6” tall with a skinny build, light brown hair, no facial hair, blue eyes and a scratch on the right side of his face.

Police say he was wearing blue jeans which were faded around the knees and had no back pockets, as well as a plain brown shirt and black ‘Sketchers’ running shoes.
