As post-secondary students move to Waterloo over the course of the long weekend, around 12 are now looking for another place to live.
Fire crews were called to a home on Holly Street around 5:20 p.m. Friday.
The platoon chief says around a dozen people were living inside the student house and have now been displaced.
No injuries were reported.
Officials say the suspected cause of the fire is electrical.
