Three people have been arrested and a fourth remains at large following a home invasion in Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police were called to a Karn Street residence just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

They say four people burst into the home and assaulted a man inside.

Three of the four were arrested following a brief foot chase by police officers.

Weapons were allegedly found on their persons and saved.

Police say the incident was targeted and there is no known risk to public safety.

The man inside the home received medical attention for minor injuries.
