Officials in Wellington County are warning the public to be on the lookout for vials of an influenza vaccine stolen from a pharmacy.

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health says an undisclosed pharmacy was robbed Feb. 14.

Among the items stolen were 10 vials of the flu vaccine Fluviral.

Public health officials say the vaccine is useless as a street drug and the thief may opt to dispose of it.

Anyone who finds discarded vials of the vaccine is asked to contact public health at 1-800-265-7293 so the vaccine can be disposed of properly.

Anyone with information about the robbery can contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Guelph-Wellington Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
