THAMES CENTRE, Ont. - Provincial police say a 64-year-old woman has died following a two-vehicle crash Friday in Thames Centre.

They say the woman was travelling westbound on Plover Mills Road when her van was struck by a pickup truck that failed to stop at a stop sign while heading southbound on Heritage Road.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and her identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The 26-year-old driver of the truck was transported to the Victoria campus of London Health Sciences where he remains in serious condition.

His 23-year-old male passenger was taken to hospital in London with non life-threatening injuries.

Police say the investigation is continuing.
