The body of a man was discovered on a beach near Port Albert, north of Goderich, on Saturday.
OPP say he was dressed and wearing a life-jacket.
But beyond that they have no way to identify him.
On Sunday OPP released a description of the man and the life-jacket that he was wearing in the hopes that someone will know his name.
Police say the man is approximately 5’8” to 5’10” in height with a medium build. He has a thin moustache and appears to be balding.
The man was wearing a black fleece jacket, Nike running shoes and black pants with a “Performance Edge Pro” or PEP logo. Police say the pants are commonly used by hockey coaches and trainers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Huron County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-222-TIPS (8477).
Foul play is not suspected in the man's death.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
