For the second time in as many months, a convenience store in Simcoe has been subjected to an armed robbery.

Shortly after 8 p.m. Monday, Norfolk County OPP say, a man entered Robinson Mart and Videos while holding a weapon.

After demanding and receiving cash, he left the store without injuring the lone employee working.

Police describe the man as white and approximately 5’7” tall, with dark hair and dark eyes.

He was seen wearing a brown scarf over his face, as well as a dark jacket and dark pants.

Police say he was last seen cycling away from the store, westbound on Robinson Street and southbound on Talbot Street.

The same store was robbed in a similar fashion in February.

The suspect in that case was said to be 6’2” tall and skinny.
