A school in a Bruce County community was placed in lockdown Wednesday due to a report of a suspicious man in the area.
The lockdown at Chesley District Community School began early Wednesday afternoon.
It was later downgraded to a ‘hold and secure’ procedure, which was lifted before the end of the school day.
According to the South Bruce OPP, a search of the area did not turn up the suspicious man.
All students and staff were safe throughout the incident, the Bluewater District School Board said.
