London Mayor Joe Fontana is due for a preliminary hearing today on fraud charges.
Fontana is accused of using taxpayer money to help pay for his son's wedding reception in 2005 (at the Marconi Club).
He's charged with fraud under five-thousand dollars, uttering a forged document and breach of trust by a public official.
Fontana's lawyer says the mayor has a strong case and will plead not guilty to all charges.
