Police investigate fatal crash on Good Friday

Wellington County OPP are investigating a fatal crash involving two vehicles in Puslinch Township.

It happened on Wellington Rd 32 at Laird Rd West around 1:00 p.m. on Good Friday.

Police say one driver was pronounced dead on scene while the other driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The names will not be released until next of kin have been notified.

Wellington Road 32 remains closed between Wellington Rd 124 and Forestell Rd.

  Provincial police say they began investigating last month after hearing from other law enforcement agencies that drugs were being imported in vehicles shipped to Canada by rail.
