The trial of a woman charged with mischief for giving water to pigs that were being trucked to a slaughterhouse will resume in Milton today.
Anita Krajnc was charged after a protest last June in Burlington, and testified earlier this month in her own defence.
Her lawyers are expected to call expert witnesses to the stand to talk about "the cognitive ability" of pigs and the impact of eating meat.
