Two vehicles damaged by fire

A truck was heavily damaged by fire in Kitchener Thursday night.

Fire officials were called to the scene on Howard Place just before 7 p.m.

Officials believe the truck cab caught fire due to an electrical short.

Another vehicle at the scene also sustained damage due to heat.

Damage is estimated at $5,000.
