A transport truck carrying a load of topsoil caught fire at Tombro Trucking Ltd. in Ayr on Sunday morning.
Fire officials on scene said the call came in around 10:45 a.m.
They said no one was in the truck at the time of the fire and it was not running. It had been parked in the lot for the weekend.
Officials said the fire was contained to the engine and the trailer was not damaged.
There is no word on what caused the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
