Brantford Police say a second person is in custody in Kitchener in connection with a recent pharmacy robbery.

The Shoppers Drug Mart at Clarence and West streets was robbed earlier this month.

Surveillance footage released by police helped identify the 26-year-old man suspected of robbing the store, who was arrested days later in Cambridge.

Inside the man’s home, police allegedly found most of the drugs stolen during the robbery.

A second person arrested at the home was later determined to have acted as a lookout during the robbery.

Police say the 44-year-old Cambridge man also had drugs with him that matched the ones stolen from the pharmacy.

The man will be sent to Brantford to face charges of robbery and breach of probation.
