Police are now confirming that the remains of Tim Bosma were discovered at a North Dumfries farm owned by Dellen Millard.
That news comes as police remain present at the farm, which they had expected to leave over the weekend.
A police spokesperson says they have completed their search of the property, but expect to remain at the farm, guarding the site, through the week.
Millard, 27, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Tim Bosma, who went missing earlier this month after leaving for a test drive with two men.
Bosma’s cellphone was found in Brantford – evidence which led police to Millard and to the farm on Roseville Road, as well as a hangar at Region of Waterloo International Airport.
Police left the hangar, which belonged to Millard’s company Millard Air, over the weekend. Last Friday, CTV News cameras captured police removing a black storage trailer and a vehicle tandem trailer from the hangar.
The farm was purchased by Dellen Millard for $835,000 in cash.
An incinerator was found at the property, but police have not said if it is connected with the investigation into the death of Bosma, whose remains are burned.
Two suspects – one of whom police say accompanied Millard on the test drive and one of whom allegedly followed them in another vehicle – remain at large.
Police say more than 700 tips have been provided by the public at a tip line set up by Hamilton Police. The tip line number is 905-546-2100.
