A 22-year-old Derby Township man was killed Saturday morning after a two car crash on Highway 23 near Minto.
It happened between 3rd and 5th Line just after 8 a.m.
OPP say a northbound Chevrolet collided with a Mercedes headed southbound.
Jordan Morrison, who was a passenger in the Chevrolet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 21-year-old Brittany Vandergulik of Owen Sound, was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A family of three was in the Mercedes. Police say the Von Westerholt family – including a 13-year old boy – were also taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No charges have been laid.
"It's too early to decide upon charges," says Constable Bob Bortolato of the Wellington County OPP. "The investigation is continuing and we'll let the investigation run it's course and decide from there whether charges will be laid."
Highway 23 was closed for most of the day between Harriston and Palmerston.
