One person is dead following a head-on crash on Highway 6 south of Puslinch and near Freelton.
The crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. near Safari Road.
Police say a Toyota Tercel was driving northbound on the highway when it crossed into the southbound lanes, crashing into a Dodge Caravan head-on and sending the Caravan into another vehicle.
The drivers of the other two vehicles were taken to Hamilton General Hospital with minor injurie, but their cars were significantly damaged.
“If you see the severity of the damage to those vehicles, they were pretty lucky really,” said OPP Sgt. Dave Woodford.
Police say they are still investigating the collision.
Highway 6 remained closed until 6:30 p.m.
