A portion of Highway 401 eastbound was closed in Oxford County on Tuesday due to a school bus fire.
The fire began shortly before 5 p.m., near Sweaburg Road.
At one point, the bus was completed engulfed in flames – making for a startling sight for passing motorists.
Before 6 p.m., one lane of the highway was reopened.
The driver – the only person aboard the bus at the time – was not injured.
OPP do not believe the fire to be suspicious.
