A float plane overturned on Belwood Lake.
It happened just after 3 p.m. Thursday.
Wellington County OPP say 64-year-old Donald Reid McLeod from Erin was piloting the Murphy Renegade float plane, when it overturned upon landing. No one else was on board.
McLeod wasn’t hurt, and was brought to shore by a canoeist.
The plane is still partially submerged, and arrangements are being made to remove it from the lake.
Transportation Canada was notified, but will not be investigating.
