A 22-year-old woman was seriously injured after her car hit a hydro pole near Guelph Friday morning.
Police say she lost control of her car on Wellington Road 39, between Woodlawn Road and Wellington Road 30, just after 6 a.m.
The car crashed into a hydro pole before coming to a stop in the ditch.
Lois Opoku was taken by air ambulance to a Hamilton hospital.
Police say her injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
Wellington Road 39 was closed for several hours while police investigated the cause of the crash.
It re-opened shortly before 11 a.m.
