A chicken barn at a property just west of Listowel was destroyed by fire Tuesday night.
Fire crews were called to the property on Line 84 around 9:30 p.m.
According to North Perth fire chief Ed Smith, Listowel firefighters were joined at the scene by crews from Monkton, Palmerston, Atwood and Huron East.
The barn was destroyed, and all the chickens inside were killed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
