A car fire tied up traffic on the westbound 401 between Mississauga and Milton Sunday afternoon.
The vehicle was on the shoulder near the Trafalgar Road exit.
Two right lanes were blocked while police and fire dealt with the situation.
All lanes were reopened by 3:00 p.m.
There was no word on any injuries.
