Provincial police are investigating after human remains were found at the Elora Gorge Conservation Area.
The body was discovered Saturday morning, inside a gazebo in the park.
“Homeowners were checking on their trailer, just checking for damage from the weather, and found the body,” Wellington County OPP Const. Marylou Schwindt told CTV News.
Though the person has yet to be identified, police say foul play is not suspected.
“We do have some leads on it, and we are pursuing those,” Schwindt said.
A post-mortem examination is expected to take place Tuesday in Hamilton.
Police say they want to hear from anyone with relevant information.
