Waterloo Regional Police are investigating the discovery of a body in a gravel pit in a remote area of Breslau.
The human remains were found Sunday in a secluded area behind the pit, off Fountain Street.
The victim has not been identified, but a post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place Monday in Hamilton.
Police say they do not consider the death suspicious and do not believe foul play is involved.
