Three teenagers from Norfolk County face charges of distributing child pornography.
Norfolk County OPP say they received a complaint about an alleged child porn incident Monday, and arrested the trio Tuesday.
An 18-year-old man, 17-year-old girl and 16-year-old girl will all appear in court at a later day.
Police say parents should speak to their children about the dangers of sending sexually explicit images to their peers.
“Teens need to realize the long and short term dangers of sending out photographs of themselves,” Const. Ed Sanchuk said in a press release.
“Those who distribute it also need to be aware of the criminal ramifications of doing so.”
