Woman seriously injured in workplace incident in Cambridge

A woman in her 50s was seriously injured in a workplace incident in Cambridge Thursday night.

Waterloo regional police say emergency services were called to a business in the area of Middleton Street and Tower Drive in Cambridge around 11:50 p.m.

When they arrived, they found a 58-year-old woman with serious injuries.

She was transported to hospital by paramedics.

Police say the Ministry of Labour is investigating.
