Two people were taken to hospital with unknown injuries following a fire at a Brantford townhouse.
Officials say two people were inside the Niagara Street home when the flames broke out, around 4 p.m. Sunday.
A man was able to escape the building safely, while a woman had to be rescued via a window.
Firefighters say the fire doesn’t appear to be suspicious in nature, but its cause remains under investigation.
A damage estimate was not immediately available.
