Two men are being sought after a woman was sprayed with what is believed to be bear spray while walking through Vanier Park in Kitchener.

The 30-year-old woman was walking on a path through the Kitchener park around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday when the two suspects ran up from behind her.

Police say after she was sprayed, the suspects continued to run down the path at Clark Avenue towards Siebert Avenue.

Nothing was said and nothing was taken, but the woman was treated for minor injuries in hospital.

The first suspect is described as male, Asian, 20-25 years of age, 5'6" with a medium build and wearing a black jacket, black toque and dark jeans.

The second suspect is described as a man wearing a black jacket.
