One week after the shooting death of his wife, Clark Sauve was questioned by police for the second time.

Linda Sauve was killed in December 2014, inside her home on Rouse Avenue in Cambridge.

Clark Sauve is accused of killing her. He has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder, and claimed that the shooting was carried out by two masked people who broke into their home.

Under interrogation hours after the shooting, Sauve claimed that both of the intruders were women and that he had grabbed their gun to fend them off.

By the time of his second questioning, he was saying that he was no longer sure if both intruders were female, and told investigators about a struggle before he grabbed the gun – something he never mentioned one week earlier.

The Crown contends that Sauve killed his wife in a planned murder-suicide, then changed his mind about killing himself.
