Bruce Peninsula OPP are investigating after a pregnant cow was found shot on a private farm.
Police say the owner found the cow while checking on his herd of cattle.
A veterinarian performed an autopsy and found entry and exit wounds on the cow.
The animal was worth approximately $4,000.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula and the Ministry of Agriculture have been notified.
