Krista Simpson
ContactKrista joined CTV Kitchener in September 2011.
Previously she worked for CTV Research and Archives, where some of the more memorable projects she was involved in include several elections and Olympic Games and the inauguration of U.S. president Barack Obama.
She also spent time interning at CTV National News in the Toronto bureau, helping with coverage of such stories as the G20 riots and a visit by the Queen.
Born and raised in the greater Toronto area, Krista has a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and a Masters of Journalism from Ryerson University.
While she's helped cover many memorable stories in her time at CTV Kitchener, at the top of the list is the surprise marriage proposal she received in the studio! (She said yes.)
