Guelph Police are investigating another break-in and theft at a payday loan shop.

The latest burglary was reported Sunday morning from a store on Woodlawn Road, and is believed to have happened sometime late Friday or early Saturday.

One or more people entered the store from a neighbouring business, police say, and made off with $50,000.

A similar theft of more than $40,000 was reported in July at a downtown location of The Cash Store.

In that case too, a neighbouring business was used to gain access to the lender.
