Man turns himself in to Guelph Police after serious stabbing
A Guelph man has been arrested after another man was taken to a trauma centre with serious stab wounds.
Guelph police were called to a home near Eramosa Road and Speedvale Avenue East around 9:20 p.m. on June 2. The caller told police two men had attacked her 25-year-old son when he went outside to speak with them.
The victim sustained lacerations to his abdomen and arms and was taken to a Hamilton trauma centre with serious wounds. He has since been released.
Investigators found a knife at the scene of the stabbing.
On Friday, a 26-year-old Guelph man turned himself in to police. He has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, assault, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and uttering threats.
