A 23-year-old Brantford resident is dead after a motorcycle crash. He has been identified by police as Jack Jeffery Prokipczuk.
A pickup truck and motorcycle collided around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of High Street and Dundas Street.
The motorcycle was westbound on Dundas Street when it collided with the eastbound pickup.
The motorcyclist died of his injuries after being tranported to hospital. The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.
Brantford police say they do not expect to lay charges, but excessive speed is believed to have been a factor.
