A group of young water-skiers were intentionally rammed into by another boat, police allege.

Wellington County OPP say they were called to Conestogo Lake Tuesday morning in response to an incident involving two watercraft on the lake.

According to police, the water-skiers had been approached by a man driving a boat at a high rate of speed.

After a verbal argument, the man allegedly rammed his boat into the water-skiers’ boat, causing minor damage, and drove away.

A 43-year-old Kitchener man is charged with dangerous operation of a vessel and failure to remain at the scene of a collision.
