KITCHENER -- Twenty schools will close for one day next week as the French-language school launches it work-to-rule campaign.
The Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir says they received notice from the OSSTF that full strike action would take place on Tuesday, January 21.
The school board says 20 elementary and secondary schools will be affected, along with one daycare.
One of those schools is the École élémentaire catholique Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys in Brantford.
Csc MonAvenir says they’ll post updates on the job action on their website as well as social media accounts.
The school board has over 17,500 students enrolled in its 61 schools, covering Kitchener-Waterloo, the Greater Toronto Area, Welland, Peterborough and Muskoka.
