A garage was destroyed in a fire in West Montrose early Monday morning.
Firefighters from St. Jacobs, Conestogo and Floradale were called to a home on Covered Bridge Drive just after 3:30 a.m.
The garage was burning when they arrived, and tanker trucks were needed to shuttle water to the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
There were no vehicles in the garage when the fire began.
