Two people were arrested and two more are now sought by police following police action in Guelph.

Police say an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking within the city led them to pull over a vehicle on Eramosa Road around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Inside the vehicle, they allegedly found $6,300 worth of cocaine and $3,705 in cash, as well as a digital scale and a small amount of marijuana.

After the traffic stop, officers executed a search warrant at a property on Mountford Drive, in the Grange Hill area of the city.

Seized from the house were more than 20 weapons, including 13 sets of nunchuks, three throwing knives, a sword, a two-bladed dagger, a large hunting knife, a switchblade and a pellet gun.

A 30-year-old man from Guelph is charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, driving while suspended and breaching his probation, while a 33-year-old Toronto man is charged with the same offences, as well as drug trafficking, disobeying a court order and other offences.

Police say they’re still looking for two other people who will be charged in connection with what they found inside the home on Mountford.
