Cambridge council will set up a committee to explore a new townhouse development on Guelph Avenue.
A single-detached home currently sits on the property but a developer wants to build a three-storey, 24-unit townhouse complex on the site.
Residents have expressed concerns about the development, mostly related to traffic issues and the size of the project.
Council hopes the committee can negotiate things like affordable housing units and landscaping with the developer.
